At 2:00 PM that day, the drill began on time. Before the drill, the company's professional firefighters demonstrated the combustion phenomena of lithium batteries under two types of external forces: puncture and hammering. During the on-site experiment, the battery cells quickly emitted dense smoke, followed by high flames.

This fully demonstrated the combustion characteristics of the batteries. Subsequently, the firefighters, equipped with fire extinguishers, safely and efficiently extinguished the burning batteries.

At 2:05 PM, as the scene transitioned (signaling the start of the drill), the alarm suddenly sounded, indicating a fire in the aging workshop, with thick smoke billowing. The company immediately activated its internal emergency response plan. The chief fire emergency commander quickly arrived on-site to assess the situation, while the emergency rescue team, emergency evacuation team, medical team, logistics support team, and communications emergency team swiftly took their positions at designated locations.
